Fine Line operates as a full service general contractor and construction manager to multiple market sectors including medical, governmental/municipal, automotive, educational, industrial, retail and financial. The commercial interiors market has been a large success for Fine Line as the nature of this work requires a quick turn around and attention to finish detail. Our ability to self-perform the core components of these types of projects result in the utilization of tenant space without delay. Through years of experience and success we have developed working subcontractor and vendor relationships based on lucid communication, mutual respect and timely compensation. Each subcontractor and vendor must undergo a rigorous review process and exhibit the highest quality of workmanship and financial responsibility.

We staff full time field technicians and maintain the ability to self-perform work at a moment’s notice. We continuously improve quality and performance by mandating that our field personnel attend trade specific continuing education seminars, outsourced safety education as well as self-analysis and in-house training exercises.

Fine Line Construction Contractors, Inc. is a full service, fully licensed and insured general contractor capable of meeting construction needs on schedule and within an established budget. Fine Line is equipped to tender consultation, design development and construction implementation throughout all phases of a construction project. Our purpose is to supply quality workmanship and management in order to meet our customer’s various building construction needs.

DESIGN

Design | Development

Fine Line is prepared to offer design development services throughout the pre-construction phase to confirm that procurement of the systems and materials specified in the final design will meet the deadlines of the project schedule. Any materials or building systems recognized as problematic will be brought to the architects and owners attention and vendor coordination will be provided to offer the most cost effective and timely solution. Immediately upon project award Fine Line will begin product submittal reviews where each product will be evaluated by the Fine Line project management team prior to being submitted to the design team.

PROJECTS

Full-time on-site Superintendent

Our construction team, inclusive of a full time on-site superintendent, will mobilize and begin construction within 24 hours of project award and will coordinate any applicable early start work agreement allowing construction to begin prior to permit issuance in the event it should be required. Fine Line project staff includes full time Project Coordinators with strong communication and organizational skills well apt in dealing with Florida Municipalities from project inception through project close. Fine Line utilizes an “open book” policy with regard to any changes to the project design, should any be initiated after project award. All vendor quotations shall be made available to the owner in the event of a change process creating transparency in the cost estimating process. Upon project award and/or permit issuance, baseline schedules will be drafted by Project Engineering staff followed by regular schedule progress updates at two week intervals in order to ensure that all parties remain fully informed of projected completion. It is Fine Line policy to provide schedule updates upon request.

Throughout the project construction phase the health of the future occupants as well as the environment will be protected by utilizing practices which are standard on all of our projects and have long-reaching beneficial effects. Simple attention to details, such as protecting air transfers and ductwork significantly improves the indoor environmental quality both during construction and the months and years that follow. Water efficiency and energy management efforts are a top concern prior to, during and post construction and all MEP systems are given thorough review and consideration with regard to design innovation and implementation. When specifying natural building materials we confirm that the specified assemblies are to be fabricated utilizing safe and sustainable products with low toxic composition. Fine Line has successfully commissioned and completed LEED certified projects and is qualified to achieve the demands of any LEED Specified project regardless of market sector.


